The Winter Solstice circle
A year-long immersion in the living Irish bardic practice of the three cauldrons. A small circle, tending the cauldrons together, in right relationship with yourself and the land.
Year-long immersion
For those who know there is something deeper to the way they create.
Your reading showed where your cauldrons are asking for attention now. Sacred Arts is where that tending becomes a living practice, held across a full year and witnessed by others walking the same path.
Through journey work, making, coaching enquiry and sacred sharing, held in ceremony, the circle builds the three cauldrons one by one, so each has time to settle before the next is drawn in.
The practice
The three cauldrons come from the Cauldron of Poesy, an early Irish bardic text attributed to Amergin, druid and poet of the Milesians. It describes three cauldrons born within every person, each sitting in its own position. Turning the cauldrons is the work of a lifetime.
the cauldron of warming
Born upright
Support, strength and trust within. The gifts to lean into, and what you can cultivate within yourself.
the cauldron of motion
Born on its side, turned by sorrow and by joy
Authentic expression. What is ready to move through you, and how lived experience becomes the catalyst for sacred expression.
the cauldron of knowledge
Born upside down
Sacred receiving. Knowledge, and Imbas arriving with ease.
How the year unfolds
The year begins with the ground and gathers the others in as it turns.
In their words
It is like knowing your grandmother is there. You can go to her and she will understand, even though you haven’t shared anything very personal.
It’s probably cut out years of my trying to extensively research and figure it all out by myself. The programme really supported me in finding my niche in a very holistic and supportive way.
If you’re on the fence, you probably should just do it. If it piques your interest, it will nourish and feed something you’re looking for.
